Co-living is critical for individuals navigating life transitions, including veterans, young adults aging out of foster care, and returning citizens. For these groups, stable housing is often the greatest barrier to employment, stability, and long-term success.
Traditional housing models are frequently rigid, costly, and inaccessible. Thoughtfully structured co-living provides an affordable alternative, offering community, accountability, and dignity. This approach creates calm, respectful environments where individuals can regain footing, rebuild confidence, and move forward.
Our Mission
We provide stable, structured, and affordable co-living for adults navigating life transitions. We remove housing barriers with safe, well-managed homes that promote accountability, respect, and stability, empowering individuals towards independence and long-term success.
Our Vision
We envision communities where housing is a foundation, not an obstacle. We create environments that restore dignity, foster responsibility, and empower individuals to rebuild lives with confidence. Intentional co-living bridges instability and independence, offering a meaningful pathway forward.
Our Impact
With structure, respect, and support, people rise. New Leaf Legacy Living is where new beginnings take root and lasting change starts, transforming lives through supportive housing environments.
Why I Started New Leaf Legacy Living
“Sometimes the difference between surviving and rebuilding is not effort—it’s having a safe place to land.”
New Leaf Legacy Living was created through a combination of lived experience, education, and years of dedicated work across social services and healthcare. With a background in Psychology and Criminal Justice, and direct experience supporting foster youth, veterans, returning citizens, and families in crisis, I have firsthand witnessed how housing instability can profoundly derail lives.
Crucially, I’ve also lived this reality myself—having faced the challenge of losing housing for my children and me. That profound experience shaped my unwavering commitment to creating safe, structured housing environments where people can truly reset, rebuild, and move forward with dignity.
New Leaf Legacy Living exists to provide that vital second chance—a place where accountability meets compassion, and where new beginnings are not just hoped for, but actively take root.

Why This Model Works for Property Owners
New Leaf Legacy Living was designed to simplify leasing while providing consistent, responsible occupancy. Our model removes many of the common challenges property owners face with traditional rentals.
One Lease
You lease the property to one entity—New Leaf Legacy Living. There are no individual tenants on your lease, no multiple contracts, and no confusion. This creates clarity and reduces administrative burden.
One Payer
Rent is paid directly by New Leaf Legacy Living—on time and in full. You are not collecting rent from multiple occupants or managing partial payments. Payment reliability is built into the model.
One Point of Contact
You communicate with one professional operator, not multiple residents. All questions, concerns, and coordination go through us, keeping communication simple and efficient.
Professional Oversight
We manage the home like a business, not a traditional rental. This includes structured screening, furnishing, clear house rules, weekly and random check-ins, and ongoing monitoring to ensure the property remains quiet, clean, and well cared for.
Reduced Vacancy Risk
Because housing demand is built into our program, vacancy risk is handled by us—not the owner. You receive stable income without gaps, even during resident turnover.
Compliance and Transparency
New Leaf Legacy Living operates as a housing-focused, non-clinical program. We do not provide medical, mental health, or treatment services. Our sole focus is stable housing, structure, and accountability.
We are a privately operated, unlicensed transitional housing program, designed to support adults navigating life transitions through shared housing and professional oversight.
New Leaf Legacy Living is fully compliant with Fair Housing laws and is committed to providing housing without discrimination. All homes operate in accordance with local occupancy and housing guidelines, ensuring safe, respectful, and compliant living environments.
Transparency, professionalism, and responsible operations are central to our partnerships with property owners, community organizations, and residents.
Community Values
At New Leaf Legacy Living, our community is built on shared values that create safe, respectful, and stable homes. These values guide how we operate, who we serve, and who we partner with.
Accountability
We believe personal responsibility and clear expectations create strong communities. Residents and partners are expected to honor commitments, follow guidelines, and contribute positively to shared spaces.
Respect
Every individual deserves to be treated with dignity. We foster environments where differences are honored, boundaries are respected, and everyone feels safe and valued.
Structure
Consistency creates stability. Clear house rules, routines, and oversight provide the structure needed for residents to focus on rebuilding and moving forward.
Stability
Stable housing is the foundation for progress. Our model prioritizes calm, well-managed homes that support long-term success and peace of mind.
Compassion
We lead with understanding while maintaining standards. Compassion allows us to support individuals through transition while holding space for growth and accountability.
"Stability changes everything. When people have a safe place to land, they can finally focus on where they're going."
Where New Beginnings Take Root
At New Leaf Legacy Living, our impact is measured by stability restored and lives set back on course. By providing safe, structured housing, we remove one of the greatest barriers individuals face during times of transition—the lack of a reliable place to live.
Our model creates environments where accountability and dignity coexist. Residents are supported by clear expectations, consistent oversight, and a respectful community that allows them to focus on rebuilding without the chaos of housing insecurity.
Through intentional co-living, we reduce housing barriers for individuals who are often overlooked by traditional systems, offering a practical pathway toward independence, self-sufficiency, and long-term stability.
The result is not just housing—it is renewed confidence, restored dignity, and a foundation strong enough for lasting change.
